Woodlarks Camp Site provides camping holidays to the disabled, we were appointed by the Woodlarks Camp Site Trust to build a new welfare facilities centre for the charity.
The build included a large concrete basement, a timber glulam frame with a combination of brickwork and timber external wall construction, modern standing seam zinc roof and a feature brickwork ramp leading to the main entrance and veranda.
Contained within the centre are wet rooms with adjustable basins, baths and toilets and two sleeping rooms. Air source heat pumps help generate heat and hot water and also incorporated are ceiling hosts, automatic light control and wall and door protection throughout.
The completed building is a fitting tribute to the efforts of the fundraisers, a charming place to holiday with a facilities centre to match.
