Glenthorne High School

Construction of a new two storey hub building situated in the heart of a large active secondary school. Additional work included significant refurbishment to elements of the surrounding buildings.
The hub links together three existing teaching blocks and contains a new entrance, reception, library, offices and classrooms. We also completed a new external courtyard.
The new building was formed using both concrete and timber frame, a brick and rendered facade and fibreglass roof. Internally, the concrete columns and slabs, exposed services and glass fire screens create a stylish and modern industrial quality.
There were complexities associated with this project, but we thrive on such challenges and all were overcome with minimum of fuss.
